Questions guests ask us

How does the booking request work?
Choose your dates on the booking page, send the request, and we confirm availability and the final price by email, usually within 24 hours. The booking is binding once both sides have confirmed and the payment instructions have been followed. No payment is taken when you send the request.
Do you take bookings directly, without a booking site?
Yes. Booking directly means no commission and a personal reply from the owners. The availability calendar on this site is the same one we use for all bookings, so what you see is up to date.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 11:00. Check-in is self-service with a key box, so you can arrive late in the evening.
How many people can stay?
Up to six: four in proper beds (a double downstairs, two singles upstairs) and two on sofa beds. It suits two families with small children or a group of four adults comfortably.
Are bed linen and towels included?
They are optional at €29 per person, or you can bring your own. Final cleaning is included in every quote.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, 3 nights. Longer stays are welcome up to 21 nights.
Can we see the northern lights from the cabin?
Often, yes. The terrace faces west over the trees and the area is dark. From September to early April, clear nights give a good chance. We recommend an aurora alert app.
Do we need a car?
Not necessarily. The ski bus stops 300 m away and runs twice an hour to the Levi centre. Kittilä airport is 15 minutes by taxi. A car is handy for day trips to the national park or Rovaniemi.
Is the sauna private?
Yes. The sauna and shower room are inside the cabin and only for you.
Are pets allowed?
No, we keep the cabin pet-free for guests with allergies.
Is there parking and an engine heater?
Parking for three cars and an engine heater outlet for cold nights.
What should we pack for Lapland in winter?
Layers: thermal base layers, a fleece, a windproof shell, warm boots, mittens and a hat. Temperatures range from −5 °C to −30 °C in January and February. The cabin has a drying rack and a dryer for wet gear.
Is the cabin suitable for remote work?
Yes. Upstairs there is a partitioned workspace and the Wi-Fi is fast enough for video calls.
Is there a larger cabin for groups?
Yes. Our sister property Levin Hiihtogreeni next to Levi Golf sleeps up to 24 guests in two apartments. See hiihtogreeni.fi.
